Every client's loads on one screen, and which are late before the EA does.

Byrne Waste Tracking records each load a permitted site receives and sends it to Defra. Your clients sign themselves up from your own link, and you see every one of them on a single screen. It costs you nothing.

Part B · Working together

The terms for consultants aren't on this page

They're between you and me, and I'll send them to you. Ask on a call, or email wilf@byrnedigitalsolutions.co.uk and I'll reply the same working day.

Part C · How you put a client on

Your own link. Your clients set themselves up.

  1. YouMake your free consultant login

Open the app and make a login. No permit needed, no card, two minutes.

  2. YouCopy your own link

It is on your first screen, then on your Clients screen. Send it to any client who isn't sorted, by email or text, in your own words, or tap Email it to a client for a ready email from your own mailbox.

  3. ClientThey sign up from your link

They type their permit number and the site fills itself in from the Environment Agency's register. Once they've proved their email, their company is on your Clients screen.

  4. ClientThey link Defra and log loads

They register with Defra and paste their API code in (the ten steps). Each load is checked against Defra's rules before it saves and goes to Defra by itself.

  5. ClientThey pay me, not you

I send their invoice, with 14 days free first and no contract. You never handle an invoice.

  6. YouYou see every client on one screen

Every site you cover, with anything overdue at the top, so you see a late load before the EA does.

Which clients does it apply to? Paste your client list's permit numbers and see them all in one table, free.

Rather I set a client up for you? Email me the company name, site address, permit number and the client's own email address, and I'll do it, with you copied.

Not sure a client is in scope? The free permit check reads the Environment Agency's register for any site in England, and points Welsh sites to Natural Resources Wales's register. Setting up several clients at once? Who registers, who pays, and one email for all of them, with a guide for each type of site to send on.

Part D · What you get in the app

Built for the person who answers for more than one permit

Illustration with made-up sites. The real tab shows the same columns for your own clients.

Not there yet, so not promised: setup ticks per client on the Clients tab, a download of the attendance log, and a screen for uploading your own logo (I add logos myself for now).

Want something to forward? The one-page client pack explains what it is and how setup works, and prints on one sheet.

Part E · Scotland and Northern Ireland

Your Scottish clients start on 1 January 2027, Northern Irish clients in January 2027

Digital waste tracking starts in Scotland on 1 January 2027 (DAERA say January 2027 for Northern Ireland), on the same Defra service as England and Wales. If you look after sites there, they are about to need what your English clients needed in September, and you can introduce them the same way. A site in Scotland or Northern Ireland that joins before 1 January 2027 pays nothing until 1 January 2027. Scotland starts that day and DAERA say January 2027 for Northern Ireland.

The app asks which country each site is in and counts the two working days with that nation's own bank holidays, so a Scottish site's due dates are Scotland's, not England's. What changes on 1 January 2027, with sources.

Part F · Talk to me

Book a 15-minute call

I take calls on Tuesdays 4pm to 5pm and Wednesdays 3pm to 5pm. Tell me who you are and which suits you, and I'll email you to confirm a time. Email is the quickest way to reach me - I reply the same working day.

Your details go to Wilf and nobody else. Never sold, never passed on.

Rather email? wilf@byrnedigitalsolutions.co.uk. Or ring 07935 173034 and leave a message: I ring consultants back on Tuesday 4pm to 5pm or Wednesday 3pm to 5pm.

Part G · Questions consultants ask

What does it cost me?

Nothing. You never pay me and you never handle my invoices. I invoice your client direct, and every new site gets 14 days free first.

Do I have to sign anything?

No contract to sign. I send you the terms in writing, and you can stop any time.

Can I put it under my own name?

Co-branding, yes: your name and logo sit in a bar above the app for your clients, with "powered by Byrne Digital Solutions" beneath. White-label, no: my name stays on it.

Can I log loads for my clients?

Yes. Tap the client's site in your Clients tab and record loads against their permit. The app shows whose site you are working on the whole time.

Can I register my client with Defra or pay their £26?

No. The permit holder registers the organisation with Defra and pays Defra's £26 a year. Once they have their Defra API code, they can send it to you or to me and it goes in for them.

What happens if something happens to you?

Your clients' records are never stuck with me. Every load they send is already at Defra, which is the legal record. They can download all of it in Defra's own spreadsheet from Export, any time, and carry on with Defra's spreadsheet the same day. If I ever stop, I will give every customer and consultant at least 30 days' notice by email and a full export first.

What counts as a site?

Each permitted site. A mobile plant operator working several deployments has each one as its own site.

What about clients in Scotland or Northern Ireland?

Scotland starts on 1 January 2027 and DAERA say January 2027 for Northern Ireland, on the same Defra service. You introduce them the same way, and the app counts their due dates with their own nation's bank holidays.

Can a client's site ring you for help?

Sites are helped by email and inside the app, and I reply the same working day. Calls are for consultants, so if something needs talking through, you can ring me about your client.
